4 Tips for Valentine’s Day This Year

shutterstock_132581585Valentine’s Day can be a stressful time of year whether you’re in a committed relationship or not. That said, with a little organization and planning, it can be a great day for you and a loved one (or even just on your own!). Here are some tips from Violife to guarantee happiness this Valentine’s Day.

1. Keep it casual. Instead of going all out on an expensive dinner or adventure, keep it personable and laid back between you and your date. You’ll both feel less pressure, and then you can feel free to dress down and relax on the evening. I mean, it is a Friday night, after all!

2. Plan ahead! Are you going out for a romantic dinner? Are you doing anything? It doesn’t matter what your plans are, but making an effort is good regardless. At least a week before the big day, set aside even twenty minutes to figure out something to do. Want to take a slightly bigger risk? You can enter our Share the Love Sweepstakes and win a romantic dinner for two, a Slim Sonic toothbrush for you and your partner, and two Zapi Sanitizers as well!

3. Gifts, gifts, gifts. It can be stressful to think about what to get your significant other for Valentine’s Day. Just like a restaurant or a date night, keep it casual, keep it light. Buy something you can share like theater tickets or a reservation at a B&B not too far away.

4. Gonna be single? Who cares! Get together with all of your best friends and plan a Netflix night.

Like we said earlier, planning ahead is best. Don’t let Valentine’s Day sneak up on you and provide some kind of unpleasant surprise. Stay social and spend time with the people you love.
